Otto C. de Córdoba is an attorney specializing in business law, government and administrative law, and international law. Born in Cuba on August 5, 1956, he immigrated to the United States with his family in 1960. Growing up in Queens, New York, he experienced the challenges and opportunities of immigrant life, which shaped his commitment to advocacy. In 1980, he earned his Bachelor of Arts from Columbia University, a prestigious institution known for its rigorous academic standards. He continued his education at Columbia Law School, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1984. After being admitted to the New York Bar in 1985, Mr.

de Córdoba began his legal career at a prominent law firm in New York City. His early years in the legal field provided him with inexperience in various aspects of law. In 1987, he relocated to Miami, Florida, seeking new opportunities in a diverse legal market. Over the years, he has been a partner at several esteemed firms, where he developed his skills in complex commercial litigation, class actions, product liability, and employment discrimination suits. His experience has allowed him to represent numerous Fortune 500 companies, including State Farm, Chevron, and Ford Motor Company. Throughout his 41-year career, Mr. de Córdoba has also engaged with various professional organizations.

He served as the Southeast Regional President of the Hispanic National Bar Association from 1995 to 1997. Additionally, he was a Director of the Cuban American Bar Association from 1998 to 2000, where he contributed to the advancement of legal issues affecting the Cuban-American community.
