About Nyles L.

Nyles L. Courchesne built his legal foundation at Boston University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Communication, followed by a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 1995. He moved from study to practice at a time when regional real estate markets were changing, and he has worked through shifts in lending, development and regulation since then.

Courchesne is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. He has been active in local and state bar groups for years. His memberships include the Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley, which he joined in 2001, and the Chicopee Bar Association, where he has been a member since 2005. He also joined the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts in 2008 and remains a member.

Between 2013 and 2014 he served on the board of the Hampden County Bar Association and chaired the Hampden County Real Estate Bar. Those roles put him in regular contact with other lawyers, title agents and real estate professionals. They also involved organizing meetings and discussions on issues that affect transactions and practice in the county.

His practice is centered on real estate matters. He represents buyers, sellers, lenders and developers in residential and commercial transactions. The work often includes title review, contract drafting and negotiation, closings and handling disputes that arise from deals. He handles files that are transactional and those that require courtroom or negotiation skills.

Colleagues describe him as pragmatic in approach and attentive to detail. He tends to favor clear explanations over technical jargon. That style shows up in how he prepares documents and advises clients who are navigating purchases, sales or refinancing.

Courchesne works out of Peskin, Courchesne & Allen PC. In that setting he continues to serve clients across Hampden County and the surrounding region, taking on both routine matters and more complex transactions. He currently practices at Peskin, Courchesne & Allen PC, concentrating on real estate transactions, title matters and related litigation.
