About Noble
Noble Grant took a practical route into law after a grounding in economics. He earned a B.S. in Economics, with a concentration in Finance, from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2004. He then entered Nashville School of Law in 2005 and completed his Juris Doctor in 2009. That academic path combined numbers and rules, and it shaped how he approaches legal problems: methodically and with attention to detail.
After law school he began practicing in Tennessee. He is licensed to appear before courts in the state and has spent his career handling matters that arise from marriage and its dissolution. Early work included courtroom appearances and negotiating settlements. Over time he handled increasingly complex divorce files that involved disputed assets, contested custody, and support calculations.
His career has centered on family law. He represents clients in divorce proceedings, custody and parenting-time disputes, child support matters, and contested property division. He has argued motions and attended hearings. He also prepares financial affidavits and settlement proposals, and works with financial experts when an estate or business valuation is necessary. He combines courtroom experience with practical case management. That mix helps him move files forward while keeping legal strategy aligned with clients’ goals.
Colleagues describe his approach as straightforward and transactional when needed, but ready for litigation when issues cannot be resolved. He spends time reviewing settlement offers and drafting agreements. He tends to break complex financial questions into clear steps for clients so they can weigh options. Communication and preparation are regular parts of his practice.
He has handled cases with a variety of fact patterns, from short marriages with minimal assets to long-term marriages involving businesses and retirement accounts. Parenting-time and custody questions are a frequent element, and he works through those disputes both in court and at the negotiating table. He also helps clients understand the short- and long-term financial effects of different settlement scenarios.
Today he practices as a divorce lawyer in Tennessee. He represents individuals in litigation and negotiated resolution of marital dissolution, custody, support, and related family law matters. His current practice focuses on divorce and family law in Tennessee.
