About Linda Warren
Linda Warren Seely is a family law attorney based in Jackson, Tennessee, specializing in divorce and family law matters. She is a licensed attorney in Tennessee and has been practicing law for over 29 years. Linda earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, from Memphis State University in 1978 and her Juris Doctor from the Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law at Memphis State University in 1981.
Throughout her career, Linda has been deeply involved in pro bono work and alternative dispute resolution. She has served as the Director of Pro Bono Projects at Memphis Area Legal Services and as the Managing Attorney at West Tennessee Legal Services. In 2021, she joined Butler Snow LLP as Pro Bono Counsel, leading the firm's pro bono efforts from its Memphis office. Linda is a Rule 31 Listed Family Mediator, certified by the Tennessee Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission.
She has been active in various bar associations, including serving as President of the Memphis Bar Association in 2013 and as a member of the Tennessee Bar Association's House of Delegates. In recognition of her contributions to the legal community, Linda has received several awards, including the Tennessee Alliance for Legal Services' Cooperative Advocacy Award in 1999 and the Tennessee Bar Association's Public Service Attorney of the Year Award in 2003.
