About Nicole (Neustein)
Nicole (Neustein) Moskowitz built a path to the law that began in the classroom. She earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law in 2005. Before law school she completed an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University in 2003 and graduated from Barnard College with a B.A. in American History in 1996. Those academic choices shaped an approach that blends legal training with attention to human dynamics.
Her early legal work included internships and clerkships in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. She served as a law clerk there in 2009 and returned to chambers in 2012. Between those clerkships she joined Carlton Fields, P.A. as an associate in 2008, gaining experience at a large regional firm and exposure to federal practice and civil litigation procedures.
In 2010 she began practicing under the Neustein firm name and two years later became a partner at The Neustein Law Group. That progression mirrors a steady move from supporting roles in court to leadership in a private practice. Her admission to the Florida bar dates to 2008, and she is admitted to practice before the 11th Circuit and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Moskowitz has blended community involvement with professional life. She has been a member of the Florida State Bar since 2008 and was part of the Stephen R. Booher American Inn of Court during 2016–2017. Since 2017 she has served as Executive Vice President of Education at Temple Sinai of Hollywood, a role that involves programming, adult education and working with volunteer leaders.
Colleagues describe her work as steady and exacting rather than flashy. Her background in mental health counseling informs how she prepares witnesses and communicates with clients. Those skills are useful in court and at the negotiating table, where understanding people can matter as much as the facts.
Over more than a decade in practice she has moved between public-sector clerkship work and private practice, bringing procedural knowledge of federal courts into a firm setting. She remains active in the courts where she is admitted and continues to handle matters for clients in both federal and state forums. She currently practices at The Neustein Law Group, P.A., handling matters in the federal and state courts where she is admitted.
