About Nicole M
Nicole M Jaffee began her legal training at the University of California, Davis, where she earned a B.A. in English and Political Science in 2004. She went on to earn her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law in 2007. Those years framed an early interest in both public service and private practice, a balance that appears in the course of her career.
Her earliest legal experience included an internship at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in 2003 and a summer internship with the State Bar of California in 2005. After law school she entered private practice, joining Nixon Peabody in 2007. Over the next several years she worked at a series of California firms, including Morison Holden Derewetsky & Prough in 2010 and Alborg Veiluva & Martin LLP in 2011. In 2012 she had roles at both Donnelly Nelson Depolo & MurrayDonnelly and at the Law Offices of Daniel F. Reidy.
In 2016 she became a partner at Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz LLP. That promotion followed nearly a decade of varied experience in both firm settings and regulatory internships. Her trajectory shows sustained advancement through associate roles into firm leadership.
Outside of firm life she has been active in local organizations. She serves on the board of Chops Teen Club and is President of that board. She is on the board of Verity and holds the office of Secretary there. She also maintains memberships in the Sonoma County Women in Law, the Sonoma County Bar Association and The Richard M. Sangster American Inn of Court. Her ties to community groups extend to the Empire Runners Club, where she has served on the board in the past.
Colleagues describe a lawyer who has navigated positions in both boutique and larger firm environments as well as public-sector internships. Those experiences inform how she approaches client matters and firm responsibilities. She has combined litigation and transactional exposure from different offices into a steady practice rhythm.
She currently practices at Perry, Johnson, Anderson, Miller & Moskowitz LLP and handles matters for the firm’s clients while participating in the firm’s leadership and community work.
