About Nicole M.
Nicole M. Gallant built a practice from classroom to courtroom. She started her academic path at Merrimack College, where she studied political science and sociology and earned a B.A. in 2003. She went on to New England Law | Boston and received her J.D. in 2008. Those years set the foundation for the kind of work she does today.
Her early career included a role as a senior associate at Cervizzi & Associates beginning in 2009. There she handled a steady caseload and gained hands-on experience in family law matters. A decade later she became a partner at Gallant | Messier Family Law Group, LLP, a move that formalized her leadership role and put her name on the firm roster in 2019.
Gallant practices in Massachusetts. Her caseload covers divorce, child custody and parenting time disputes, child and spousal support matters, and related family court proceedings. She represents clients at hearings and mediations, prepares court filings, and works on settlement negotiations. The work requires careful pacing and clear communication. She focuses on the procedural and evidentiary steps that move cases forward.
Outside the courtroom she has maintained professional connections across the region. She holds memberships in the Essex County Bar Association and the Lawrence Bar Association. She is also a member of the Women’s Business League. From 2014 to 2015 she served on the board of Foster Kids of the Merrimack Valley, a local organization that supports children in foster care. Those roles have kept her engaged with colleagues and community organizations.
Her practice combines litigation tasks and client counseling. She balances appearances at the family court with drafting agreements and guiding clients through paperwork. Colleagues describe her work as steady and client-centered. Clients turn to her for clarity on legal options and for help managing procedural deadlines.
She currently practices family law at Gallant | Messier Family Law Group, LLP.
