About Nicole K
Nicole K Socci combined an early interest in human behavior with legal training to build a career in family law. She earned a B.A. in psychology from Ithaca College in 2005. She then went on to New England Law | Boston, finishing her Juris Doctor in 2008. The academic background gives her a steady foundation in both client-facing work and courtroom procedure.
After law school Socci became active in the Massachusetts legal community. She has been a member of the Massachusetts State Bar since 2008. She also holds memberships in the Essex County Bar Association and the Lawrence Bar Association, both since 2011. Since 2016 she has been part of The Greater Boston Family Law American Inn of Court, an organization that brings together judges, lawyers and law professors to discuss practice and ethics in family law.
Over the years Socci has worked within the local practice environment rather than pursuing a national profile. Her professional network is rooted in northeastern Massachusetts bar groups and family law circles. That local focus has informed the practical side of her work: courtroom practice, negotiation and client counseling. Colleagues cite her steady presence at association events and Inn of Court meetings, where she participates in discussions on case law and courtroom practice.
Her practice centers on family law matters. She handles divorce cases, custody and visitation disputes, child support and related financial issues. She represents clients in contested hearings and negotiated settlements, and she prepares pleadings and agreements for filing. In client meetings she places emphasis on explaining options and likely outcomes in plain terms. She also advises on post-judgment enforcement and modification matters when relationships and circumstances change.
Socci is part of Socci & Nieves Family Law Group LLP. She continues to work in Massachusetts courts and bar organizations she has been affiliated with for years. She practices family law at Socci & Nieves Family Law Group LLP and handles divorce, custody, support and related family law matters.
