About Nickolas
Nickolas Daniels began his path in law after completing undergraduate studies at Saginaw Valley State University, where he studied criminal justice and earned a B.A. in 1998. He went on to earn a J.D. from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2003. His education provided a foundation in courtroom procedure and criminal law theory, and it set the stage for a practice centered in Michigan.
After law school, Daniels entered the legal profession and built experience in the state’s courts. In 2007 he opened his own firm, the Law Offices of Nickoals Daniels & Associates, PLC, and took on the responsibilities of owner and principal attorney. Running a small firm required him to handle both legal work and the business of law. He has overseen case strategy, client intake, and the day-to-day operations that keep a local practice functioning.
Daniels maintains memberships in local and statewide professional groups. He is a current member of the Macomb County Bar Association and of the Michigan Association for Justice. Those connections keep him engaged with colleagues across the county and the state and provide regular opportunities for continuing legal education and professional development.
Over the years he has worked on matters that bring him before Michigan courts. His experience as a solo practitioner has meant direct contact with clients from initial consultation through resolution. He has managed litigation schedules, drafted pleadings and motions, and handled negotiations. Colleagues describe him as straightforward in his approach to legal problems and practical when explaining options to clients.
Clients and opposing counsel see him as a familiar presence in regional courthouses. He runs a compact practice that serves people and businesses in the area. The firm’s size allows him to stay involved in day-to-day casework while supervising staff and outside counsel when necessary. He continues to live and work in Michigan and practices law through his firm, handling matters in state courts across the jurisdiction.
