About Nicholas

Nicholas Vidoni earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy from Hope College and continued his studies at the University of Iowa, where he received his J.D. in 2011. Those academic choices set the stage for a career that pairs careful analysis with plainspoken writing. He left law school prepared for courtroom papers and client conversations alike.

He is admitted to practice in Iowa and Florida. Early in his career he moved through roles that combined litigation tasks and firm management responsibilities. By 2018 he took on the title of managing lawyer at Vidoni Law, a small firm where he oversees daily operations as well as client matters. The managing role required juggling casework, staffing decisions and the practical demands of running a legal business.

Colleagues describe him as deliberate in courtroom preparation and direct in client meetings. He handles pleadings and motions, and he spends time in depositions and hearings. Cases vary in subject and size, and he approaches each the same way: identify the key factual disputes, map the relevant law, and build a strategy a client can understand. He writes plainly. He prefers clarity over flourish when a judge or opposing counsel reads a brief.

Outside of court filings, he takes on the often messy work of case management. That means organizing discovery, coordinating expert witnesses when needed, and keeping clients apprised of developments. He has experience steering matters from initial intake through trial or settlement. The role requires combining a practical sense for law office logistics with an attention to the legal questions at hand.

Vidoni Law PLLC operates as a compact practice where he handles both oversight and hands-on legal work. He balances administrative duties with time spent on client files. His practice includes litigation tasks and business-related legal work. He currently practices at Vidoni Law PLLC, where his work centers on civil litigation and business matters.
