About Michael
Michael Faro earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Chicago in 1997 and later completed his J.D. at Capital University in 2004. He moved into public service immediately after law school, joining the public defender’s office as an assistant public defender in 2004. The early part of his career gave him courtroom experience and exposure to the demands of trial work.
Within a year he shifted into private practice, opening a solo practice under the name Michael Anthony Faro, P.A. in 2005. He expanded that practice and took on a managing role at Faro & Associates, P.A. in 2008. Two years later he became a partner at Faro & Crowder, P.A. Those moves show a steady progression from solo practitioner to firm leadership in a relatively brief span.
Faro is admitted to practice in Florida and is also authorized in the federal courts that handle bankruptcy matters in the state. His jurisdictions include the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and their respective bankruptcy courts. He has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2004, and that membership remains active.
Professional affiliations form a consistent part of his career. He holds memberships in the Central Florida Bankruptcy Lawyers Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Lawyers, both of which he joined in 2012. He has also been a member of the Brevard County Bar since 2012. Earlier in his career he participated in the Vassar B. Carleton American Inns of Court as a pupil during 2005 62006.
Over the years Faro has divided his time between courtroom work and firm management. His background includes public defense and running small firms, along with partnership responsibilities. That combination has kept him involved in both client-facing litigation and the administrative side of legal practice.
Colleagues and clients have known him for steady courtroom presence and practical handling of procedural and evidentiary matters. In recent years his practice has emphasized bankruptcy work in Florida, including appearances in the bankruptcy courts of the Middle and Southern Districts. He continues to practice in state and federal forums in Florida and remains active in bankruptcy-oriented professional groups.
