About Nicholas
Nicholas Stark studied two different subjects as an undergraduate and returned to law later. He earned a B.A. from Colorado State University in 2004, completing coursework in political science and microbiology. He then moved on to Charlotte School of Law and received his J.D. in 2014. Those degrees sit at the start of a career that has moved between small firm practice and regional office work.
His early legal experience began at Bollinger Law Office, PC. He joined the firm as a law clerk in 2015 and became a lawyer there in 2018. The time at Bollinger gave him a grounding in day-to-day practice. He handled client intake, drafted pleadings, and worked on litigation matters under supervising attorneys. That period established his practical familiarity with courtroom procedures and client representation.
In 2023 he joined The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor, P.C. He is listed as a lawyer at the firm and is connected with its Rock Hill office among others. The move placed him within a multi-office practice serving clients in the region. His work there has involved representation across state lines, reflecting his admissions in both North Carolina and South Carolina.
Stark maintains involvement in local professional organizations. He has been a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar Association since 2019. He has also belonged to the North Carolina Advocates for Justice since 2019. Those memberships have kept him engaged with continuing education and local bar activities. They also offer regular opportunities to network with other trial lawyers and to stay current on procedural and substantive changes in state law.
Colleagues and clients describe him as thorough and practical. He concentrates on the mechanics of case preparation and the logistics of courtroom work. He has experience moving from clerk roles into lead counsel roles and understands both the supporting and the lead functions of legal teams. He currently practices at The Law Offices of Jason E. Taylor, P.C., handling litigation and other state-court matters in North Carolina and South Carolina.
