About Nicholas C

Nicholas C Mohr began his academic journey in the arts. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Eckerd College, completing that degree in 1997 after beginning his studies in 1993. He returned to school for law and received his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2004, after enrolling there in 2001. The path from creative writing to law gave him two different kinds of training: an eye for narrative and a grounding in legal analysis.

After law school Mohr established his practice in Florida. He is admitted to practice in the state and has built a career rooted in local courts and regulatory structures. He spent the early years of his career handling matters typical for new attorneys: client counseling, negotiation, and court appearances. Those formative years helped him learn how to explain complex ideas simply and how to manage competing priorities under deadline pressure.

Mohr practices at the Law Office of Lobb & Mohr. That association places him in a small firm setting where casework and client contact are closely linked. He is known among colleagues for clear writing and for organizing case files so that other professionals can follow the progress of a matter without back-and-forth. He applies the narrative skills from his undergraduate studies to drafting motions, client letters, and settlement communications.

Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing for hearings and direct when dealing with clients. He balances courtroom readiness with efforts to resolve disputes before trial when that is practical for a client. His practical approach is evident in routine tasks such as discovery management and trial preparation. He attends hearings and mediations, and he coordinates with experts and other attorneys when a case requires outside input.

Outside the office Mohr continues to draw on the writing background that preceded his legal training. He has used that experience to craft clearer pleadings and to help clients understand the documents they sign. Today he works from the Law Office of Lobb & Mohr, where he maintains a general practice handling a range of Florida state law matters.
