About Nadine
Nadine Diaz earned her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law in 1985 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies at the University of South Florida in 1981. Her academic path combined study of government and global affairs before turning to the practice of law. The chronology of degrees places her entry into the legal profession in the mid-1980s.
She is licensed to practice in Florida and began her legal career in that state shortly after receiving her J.D. Over the years she built a practice centered on courtroom work. Cases that proceed to trial require a particular mix of preparation, tactical judgment and comfort under pressure. Those are the skills she has applied in civil litigation matters.
Diaz earned board certification as a Civil Trial Law Specialist from The Florida Bar. Board certification signals that a lawyer has met standards for substantial involvement in litigation, peer review and continuing legal education in that specialty. For clients and colleagues the credential marks a recognized level of trial experience within Florida’s civil courts.
Her work has involved the routine elements of trial-ready practice: drafting pleadings and motions, conducting depositions, preparing exhibits, and arguing evidentiary and dispositive matters in court. She has handled case management from initial filings to trial preparation. That practical process often includes assessing risk, developing proof strategies and advising clients on litigation posture.
In the courtroom she has presented evidence to juries and judges. Trials test both factual presentation and legal clarity. Diaz’s certification and lengthy tenure in practice reflect persistent engagement with those tasks rather than a brief period of involvement.
Outside the courtroom she has managed the practical demands of maintaining a law practice in Florida over several decades. That has involved staying current on procedural changes and evolving case law that affect civil trial practice in state courts.
She continues to practice in Florida and concentrates on civil trial matters.
