About Ms. Kristine Bradt
Ms. Kristine Bradt Kendrick built a career that crosses public service, title work and private practice. Her legal path traces back to the mid-1970s, after she completed formal legal study and began working in roles tied to real estate and municipal law.
She earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Colorado College in 1969 and pursued further legal study at Tulane University School of Law in 1974 before receiving a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 1976. Those academic years set the stage for a practice that would combine transactional, regulatory and governmental work.
In the late 1980s she moved into the title insurance sector, serving as Vice President and Louisiana Area Manager for Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation in 1987. That industry role led to an extended period of professional involvement in title matters. She held several posts in the Louisiana Land Title Association throughout the 1990s, including stints as president and vice president. She also served on the Uniform Title Standards Committee of the Louisiana State Bar Association and participated in the Title Insurance Legislation Task Force of the Louisiana Department of Insurance.
Kendrick’s public sector experience includes a term as Chief Deputy City Lawyer for the City of New Orleans around 2000. She served on local governance and neighborhood boards, including the Garden District Security District as secretary and commissioner and as a director of the New Orleans Neighborhood Development Collaborative from 2002 to 2005. In 2005 she worked in real estate management at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., a role that further broadened her exposure to property and transactional issues.
Her solo practice has been a recurring feature of her career. She first operated under her own name in 1994 and returned to solo practice again in 2011 as Kristine Bradt Kendrick, Lawyer at Law. She holds memberships in the Louisiana State Bar Association (since 1982), the Arkansas Bar Association and the American Bar Association, and she serves on the board of commissioners for the Inspiration Point Rural Fire Protection District.
Kendrick is admitted to practice in Arkansas and Louisiana and before the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits. Her record shows long engagement with title insurance, real estate matters and municipal legal work. She currently practices as a solo attorney under the name Kristine Bradt Kendrick, Lawyer at Law, handling real estate, title and municipal matters.
