About Ms. Alvi
Ms. Alvi Aggarwal began her professional path with a broad academic foundation. She earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Georgetown University, a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School and an LL.M. in Estate Planning from the University of Miami School of Law in 2010. The LL.M. provided specialized study in estate matters and informed the practical choices she made early in her legal career.
Her first recorded role came in 2011, when she worked as a lawyer at one point one legal plc. That early experience gave her exposure to hands-on legal work and client service in a firm setting. She moved to Yates Campbell & Hoeg LLP in 2013 as an associate, taking on a wider range of responsibilities and deeper client relationships. Over the next several years she handled transactional and advisory matters while gaining experience in court-related processes.
In 2018 she became a partner at Yates Campbell & Hoeg LLP. The promotion marked a shift from purely supportive roles to leadership within the firm. As a partner she took on case supervision, client counselling and the development of practice strategies. Her work has involved drafting estate documents, advising families on succession planning and guiding estates through probate procedures.
Aggarwal is admitted to practice in Virginia and Florida. Those dual jurisdictions shape the geographic reach of her practice, and they require attention to differing state rules on probate, trusts and related tax issues. Her academic training in estate planning and subsequent firm experience have informed her approach to advising individual clients and families. She balances technical detail and client-facing explanation, aiming to make complex legal choices clearer for nonlawyers.
