About Mr. Thomas
Mr. Thomas McManus built his legal foundation in the 1970s. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Tufts University in 1976 and took his law degree from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law in 1979. The classroom years gave him a grounding in analysis and writing that has shaped a long career at the Maryland bar.
He has practiced in Maryland for many years and is a partner at Sasscer, Clagett & Bucher. In that role he has handled a steady flow of matters that demand courtroom experience and careful case preparation. His public service includes participation on the Governor’s Trial Courts Nominating Commission, where he has been a member.
