About Mr Thomas M
Mr Thomas M DiCaudo earned both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Akron, completing law school in 1988. He moved quickly from graduation into public service. That same year he joined the City of Akron Prosecutor’s Office as an assistant prosecutor, beginning a career that has spanned more than three decades in Ohio law.
His early years in the prosecutor’s office were spent in the courtroom. He handled a variety of prosecutions and rose to the role of assistant chief prosecutor in 1991. In that position he carried case responsibilities and took on supervisory duties over teams of lawyers and staff. The experience forged a practical command of trial procedure and case management.
After significant years in public service, DiCaudo transitioned into private practice. He became a partner in DiCaudo & Yoder LLC in 2008. Over time the firm evolved, and he now practices at DiCaudo, Pitchford & Yoder. That move shifted his day-to-day work from municipal prosecution to representing private clients, while retaining the courtroom emphasis that defined his public-sector years.
Colleagues and clients see in his record a steady thread of litigation experience. He has tried cases and handled pretrial strategy, evidentiary issues and plea negotiations. His background in a prosecutor’s office informs how he evaluates risk and prepares for trial. He also has experience supervising case teams and mentoring junior attorneys who came up through the office and later through the firm.
Across his career, Thomas DiCaudo has remained based in Ohio and licensed to practice there since 1988. He splits his time between courtroom work and client counseling at DiCaudo, Pitchford & Yoder. His current practice concentrates on trial and litigation matters in Ohio.
