About Mr. Thomas Andrew
Mr. Thomas Andrew Fasel completed a sequence of legal and business degrees that shaped an international outlook. He earned a B.A. in Business Administration from Concordia University–Irvine in 1998, a J.D. from Chapman University Fowler School of Law in 2002, and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from the University of Notre Dame in 2007. Those credentials sit alongside admissions in both California and the Law Society of England and Wales.
His early legal work began in the courtroom and the clerk’s office. In 2004 he served as a law clerk at the United States Lawyers Office, where he worked on research and case preparation. The following year he joined Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, LLP as a lawyer. That role introduced him to the rhythms of a large firm and to the demands of client service under pressure.
In 2008 he established Fasel Law. The firm has listed offices that include Fasel Law and an address at Broadgate Tower. Over time he has combined practice in two jurisdictions, drawing on his LL.M. training and his admissions in California and England and Wales. His background places him in a position to handle matters that touch more than one legal system.
Colleagues and clients often note the practical side of his work. He takes complex legal questions and breaks them into manageable steps. He has handled drafting, negotiation and litigation-related tasks during his private practice years. His education in international and comparative law informs how he approaches cross-border issues and statutory interpretation.
Fasel’s career path reflects a mix of public-sector experience and private practice. He has worn different hats: law clerk, associate at a national firm, and principal of his own practice. Each role added a layer of procedural familiarity and client-facing responsibility. The result is a practice shaped by both legal training and on-the-ground experience.
Today he practices from offices associated with Fasel Law and Broadgate Tower. He is admitted to practice in California and to the Law Society of England and Wales, and he maintains a practice that addresses legal matters spanning those jurisdictions. He currently practices focusing on cross-jurisdictional legal matters between California and England and Wales.
