About Mr Sal

Mr Sal Quintana blends business training and legal education into a career that moves between private practice and civic involvement. He built a foundation in business at the University of Colorado Boulder, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Entrepreneurship. He later returned to the classroom at New Mexico Highlands University, completing an MBA in Business Management in 1999. He finished his legal education at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, earning a J.D. before entering practice.

Quintana is licensed to practice in Colorado and is admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. His professional timeline includes leadership and mentoring roles that run alongside his practice. He served on the Board of Governors for the Colorado Bar Association Public and Legal Services section from 2012 to 2014. He has been a member of the Minoru Yasui American Inn of Court since 2007 and has participated in that organization’s programs aimed at improving the practice and ethics of law.

He has an extended relationship with the University of Denver beyond his own studies. Since 2009 he has been part of the Sturm College of Law’s Professional Mentor Program Advisory Board and has worked directly with law students as a mentor. Those activities reflect an interest in shaping early-career lawyers and contributing practical perspective to legal education.

Since 2015 he has been active in the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association. He sits on the CHBA Board of Directors and serves as Vice-Chair of the Business Development Committee. He also represents the CHBA on the Colorado Lawyers Committee Election Task Force, a role that places him at the intersection of bar governance and broader election-related work within the state’s legal community.

His background in business management and his law degree inform how he approaches client matters. He moves between legal analysis and organizational considerations, and he brings those twin lenses to the work he does for clients and in his volunteer roles. He practices from Quintana Law Office, LLC, where he remains engaged with bar activities and mentorship in addition to his client work.

He currently practices at Quintana Law Office, LLC, focusing on matters in Colorado and before the Tenth Circuit.
