About Mr. Ryan C.

Mr. Ryan C. Young earned his J.D. from Hofstra University in 2007 after completing a B.A. at Longwood University in 1996. The two degrees bookend a period of formal study that led him into the Virginia bar and into practice before several federal courts.

He is admitted to practice in Virginia, before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Those admissions allow him to carry cases from the state level into the federal system when circumstances require.

Young has been active in his local bar association for more than a decade. He joined the Henrico County Bar Association Board of Directors in 2013 and continued in that role. He served as the association’s president from 2019 to 2020, a term that placed him in the association’s leadership during a period of normal bar activity and local legal community events.

His practice is conducted through Young Law PLLC. At the firm he manages a private practice and represents clients in matters brought in Virginia courts and in the federal forums where he is admitted. He handles filings, court appearances and the procedural work that federal and state litigation require.

Colleagues describe him as someone who stays engaged with local legal institutions while maintaining an active case load. He has balanced bar leadership and private practice for years. His practice concentrates on litigating matters in Virginia state and federal courts.
