About Mr. Robin J.
Mr. Robin J. Gordon completed undergraduate studies at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville, earning a B.S. in Finance in 1983. He remained at the university for law school and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1990. Those years shaped a practical approach to legal problems, grounded in financial principles and courtroom practice.
He began his legal career in 1990 as an associate at S. Ralph Gordon, PC. The early work gave him steady exposure to client counseling and case preparation. In 1996 he moved into firm leadership as Managing Partner of Gordon Law Group. He has overseen the firm’s development and handled a broad slate of matters while managing day-to-day operations.
Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice in Tennessee and Texas. He belongs to several professional organizations, including the American Bar Association, the Tennessee State Bar, the Tennessee Bar Association and the Nashville Bar Association. He also maintains membership in NARAS. Those affiliations reflect a practice connected to both local and national professional communities.
His academic background in finance informs the way he approaches legal work. Over more than three decades in private practice he has worked on issues that intersect business and law. He has balanced client advocacy with the administrative responsibilities that come with running a firm. Colleagues and clients have counted on that combination of legal and business perspective when addressing complex matters.
Today he serves as Managing Partner at Gordon Law Group, PLC. He divides his professional time between representing clients and supervising the firm’s legal team. His current practice focuses on representing clients in Tennessee and Texas.
