About Mr. Render Crayton

Mr. Render Crayton Freeman is a seasoned personal injury attorney based in Duluth, Georgia. He has been licensed to practice law in Georgia since 1994. Mr. Freeman is a partner at Andersen, Tate & Carr, P.C., a firm located at One Sugarloaf Centre, 1960 Satellite Blvd, Suite 4000, Duluth, GA 30097. His practice focuses on personal injury and medical malpractice cases, representing clients throughout Georgia. Mr. Freeman earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1994.

Prior to that, he completed his undergraduate studies at Colgate University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature in 1985. During his law school tenure, he also attended Brooklyn Law School as a visiting student in 1993. Throughout his career, Mr. Freeman has handled a diverse range of cases, including car accidents, trucking crashes, medical malpractice, negligent security, nursing home abuse, pedestrian injuries, premises liability, slip-and-falls, and wrongful death. He has been lead trial counsel in jury trials across Georgia, from federal district courts in Atlanta to superior courts in more remote areas of the state. Notably, in 2008, he secured a $3.5 million verdict for a client who was attacked by a janitor with a violent criminal history. Before joining Andersen, Tate & Carr in 2005, Mr. Freeman was a partner at Carr, Tabb, Pope & Freeman, LLP, where he defended insurance companies and businesses in personal injury matters.

This experience provides him with unique insights into defense strategies, which he now leverages to benefit his injury clients. Mr. Freeman is AV Preeminent peer-review rated by Martindale-Hubbell, the highest available rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He is a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. In 2017, he was nominated to the faculty of the Trial Lawyers College. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Freeman is actively involved in the Johns Creek community. He served as the President of the Rotary Club of Johns Creek from 2009 to 2010 and as the Vice Chairman and member of the Board of Directors of the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2009.
