About Mr. David Paul
Mr. David Paul Martin trained at the University of Alabama at Tuscaloosa, completing undergraduate work in 1989 and earning his J.D. in 1992. He moved from the classroom into a law practice that has spanned decades and multiple federal appellate doors. His educational years in Tuscaloosa set the foundation for a career that would include both professional service and appellate work.
Early in his professional life he joined the Alabama Association of Justice, a membership he has maintained since 1993. That long-standing participation put him in contact with trial and appellate lawyers across the state. In 2004 he served as a board member of the Alabama Lawyer, part of the Alabama State Bar’s publication and governance ecosystem. Mr. Martin is admitted to practice before the United States Courts of Appeals for the 2nd, 5th and 11th Circuits. Those admissions reflect work beyond a single state line.
