Mr. David H. Parker is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California and the District of Columbia. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991 and to the District of Columbia Bar in 2009. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Parker is a shareholder at Parker, Kern, Nard & Wenzel, a law firm located in Fresno, California. He has been practicing law for over 34 years, serving clients throughout California and the District of Columbia.
Mr. Parker earned his Juris Doctor degree from the McGeorge School of Law at the University of the Pacific in 1991. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Fullerton, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987. During his time at McGeorge School of Law, he gained comprehensive legal training, preparing him for a diverse legal career.
Mr. Parker concentrates his practice in the areas of employment law, workers' compensation defense, and labor and employment law. He represents employers and insurance companies in navigating California's complex workers' compensation and employment law systems. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Parker has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Fresno, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California, and the United States District Court for the District of Columbia. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to joining Parker, Kern, Nard & Wenzel, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Fresno for several years.
Mr. Parker is an active member of the California State Bar Association and the District of Columbia Bar Association. He holds membership in the Fresno County Bar Association and has served as Chairperson of the Client Relations Committee. He is also a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association. Mr. Parker is fluent in English, allowing him to serve the diverse communities of California and the District of Columbia effectively.
