About Mr. Daniel Stephen

Mr. Daniel Stephen Trachtenberg earned his Bachelor of Arts in political science from Tulane University in 1963 and continued his education at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving his J.D. in 1967. Those years set the foundation for a long career in Texas law. He moved from the classroom to practice in the late 1960s and has remained involved in real estate work for decades.

He is a partner at Bernstein, Radoff, Trachtenberg, & Serafin LLP. At the firm he has handled a range of matters tied to property: purchases and sales, financing, title questions and the paperwork that surrounds real estate commerce. The partner role reflects his long tenure in private practice and his ongoing role in advising clients and younger lawyers at the firm.

Mr. Trachtenberg holds certification in commercial and residential real estate from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential indicates he met state standards for experience and knowledge in those areas. The certification complements the transactional work he has done and signals a sustained practice in both commercial and home-related property matters.

Across his career he has worked on closings, drafted and reviewed deeds and contracts, and dealt with title and survey issues that often determine whether a deal moves forward. He also has experience on matters that require coordination with lenders, title companies and local government offices. His caseload has reflected the practical side of property law: documents, deadlines and the local rules that make or break transactions.

Colleagues describe him as an experienced presence in the office who often serves as a resource when complex title or conveyance questions arise. He has spent many years translating statutory and technical requirements into clear steps clients can follow. He balances the transactional pace of real estate closings with the longer view required for development and financing arrangements.

In his current practice he continues to concentrate on commercial and residential real estate matters, handling transactions, title work and related dispute matters for clients at Bernstein, Radoff, Trachtenberg, & Serafin LLP.
