About Mr. Daniel Jude
Mr. Daniel Jude Maxwell earned his J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2007. He arrived at law school after undergraduate work and completed his degree as the mid-2000s cohort of Seton Hall graduates. The law diploma provided the formal credential he would use to practice in two neighboring jurisdictions.
He began his legal career in the late 2000s. In 2009 he worked as a lawyer at The Law Offices of Kathleen R. Wall, a role that placed him in day-to-day client work and litigation matters. Those years offered him repeated courtroom exposure and the routines of managing a caseload, client intake, and the deadlines of civil practice. He retained ties to professional groups during this period, joining bar and trial associations the year after law school.
Since 2008 he has been a member of the New Jersey Bar Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice. Those memberships have kept him connected to continuing legal education and professional networks in the state where much of his practice has developed. He is also licensed to practice in New York, maintaining the ability to represent clients across state lines when cases or laws require it.
In 2022 he took the step of opening his own firm, creating Daniel Jude Maxwell, LLC. As owner he manages both the administrative side of a small practice and its legal work. Running a solo or small-firm operation has required balancing client development, case strategy, and office management. It has also meant making decisions about which matters the firm will accept and how it will allocate resources.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in handling filings and persistent in pursuing procedural remedies when necessary. He has worked on matters that require attention to timelines and to the rules that govern civil litigation across New Jersey and New York courts. He continues to participate in professional conversations through his longstanding association memberships.
Today he practices through Daniel Jude Maxwell, LLC and is licensed in both New Jersey and New York. He currently concentrates his practice on matters arising in New York and New Jersey.
