About Morgan Fletcher
Morgan Fletcher Benfield earned her law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. She took a traditional path through law school and moved into private practice after graduation. Her academic training in Chicago provided a foundation in core subjects of American law and courtroom practice.
Early in her career Benfield chose to build a practice rather than join a large firm. She established The Law Offices of Morgan Fletcher Benfield, pLLC and serves as its owner and lead lawyer. Running a small firm has required her to divide time between client work and the administrative demands of managing an office. Those responsibilities include client counseling, case preparation, and the day-to-day decisions that keep a practice operational.
As a practicing lawyer and business owner, Benfield handles direct client representation. She prepares pleadings, negotiates on behalf of clients, and appears in hearings when matters proceed before tribunals. Her role involves both spoken advocacy and written work. She supervises case strategy for matters the office accepts and coordinates with any outside professionals needed for investigations or expert testimony.
Benfield maintains membership in the Washington State Bar Association. That membership indicates her professional standing in the state bar and keeps her connected to the standards and rules that govern legal practice in Washington. Staying current with bar requirements is part of her role as the responsible attorney at her firm.
Colleagues and clients see Benfield as practical and detail-oriented in her approach to legal problems. She favors clear explanations of legal options and tries to set realistic expectations for timing and outcomes. In running her firm she balances the legal work that draws on her law school training and courtroom experience with the managerial tasks that firms routinely require.
As of 2026 Benfield continues to operate The Law Offices of Morgan Fletcher Benfield, pLLC. She represents clients through that office and manages the firm’s legal work and operations.
