About Monica Yanna
Monica Yanna Balyasny built her legal foundation at two institutions known for practical programs. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in 2012. She went on to receive her J.D. from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University in 2018.
After law school she entered private practice and within a few years took on an ownership role. Since 2020 she has been Co-Owner and Lawyer at JT Law Office. Balyasny is licensed to practice in Florida, New Jersey and New York. It also means routine attention to differing procedural rules and local practices. She has spent time practicing in Florida while maintaining ties to New York legal communities.
Her professional associations include membership in the Broward County Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, where she has been active since 2019.
