About Mohammadali A.

Mohammadali A. Shahmohammadi earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston–Downtown in 2012. He went on to complete his legal studies at Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, receiving his J.D. in 2016. Those years established a foundation in both human behavior and the technicalities of litigation.

After law school, Shahmohammadi entered practice in Texas. He is licensed to practice in the state and has built his career around serving clients in the Houston area. His educational background in psychology informs his approach to client interviews and case preparation.

Shahmohammadi joined Houston Injury Lawyers PLLC as a lawyer. At that firm he handles matters arising from accidents and bodily injury. He works on case intake, evidence development, and negotiations with insurers. When a claim cannot be resolved without litigation, he represents clients in court proceedings in Texas.

Colleagues describe his work as methodical. He breaks problems into discrete tasks. He places emphasis on documenting medical treatment, calculating losses and explaining options to people who often meet him after a disruptive event. The practice of injury law requires both technical knowledge and the ability to communicate clearly. Shahmohammadi’s training in psychology and law supports both.

He is active in the local legal community and has maintained professional memberships since 2018. Those affiliations keep him connected to developments in state law and practice rules. He also uses those networks to coordinate with medical providers and experts when a case requires outside analysis.

Clients' needs vary widely. Some seek help after a motor-vehicle collision. Others pursue claims related to workplace incidents or premises liability. Shahmohammadi handles the procedural work that moves a file forward: drafting pleadings, engaging in discovery, preparing testimony and negotiating settlements. He aims to present each matter clearly and efficiently so clients can evaluate their options.

Outside the office he spends time keeping current on changes in Texas law and on trial practice techniques. He has handled cases through resolution and in contested hearings. That practical experience shapes how he prepares and presents claims.

He currently practices at Houston Injury Lawyers PLLC, where he handles personal injury matters throughout Texas.
