About Miriam Fresco
Miriam Fresco Agrait studied law in Miami and returned to that community as a practicing lawyer. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from Florida International University in 2008 and completed her Juris Doctor at FIU College of Law in 2011. Those years in school shaped her early approach to the courtroom and community involvement.
After law school she entered practice in Florida. She is authorized to appear before Florida courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Her day-to-day work is based at Rubenstein Law, where she is listed as a lawyer on the firm roster. That role places her in the mix of litigated matters that move between state and federal dockets.
Professional associations have been part of her career since her student days. She is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the Dade County Bar Association. She also belongs to the League of Prosecutors and participates in the Florida Justice Association EAGLE Program. Within the FIU College of Law Alumni Association she serves as secretary, a position that keeps her connected to the law school and to younger alumni entering practice.
Her memberships reflect steady involvement in local legal networks. They provide opportunities for continuing education, peer interaction and community outreach. She has used those forums to stay current on procedural developments and to maintain ties across the Miami legal community.
At Rubenstein Law she practices alongside colleagues who handle a range of matters that touch both state and federal courts. Her admissions to the Florida bar and to federal court allow her to file pleadings, attend hearings and appear for clients in Miami’s legal institutions. Clients encounter her in court filings, hearings and other litigation settings governed by Florida and federal rules.
Colleagues describe her as methodical in courtroom preparation and attentive to procedural detail. She maintains volunteer and professional ties through the bar groups and alumni association that she serves. Those activities occupy time outside of casework but tie directly back to the professional networks that inform practice in Miami.
She currently practices at Rubenstein Law, handling litigation matters in Florida state and federal courts.
