About Miles

Miles Taylor earned his law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law, finishing the program in 2015 after enrolling in 2012. He left law school with courtroom experience from clinic work and a clear interest in practicing in his home state. The legal training emphasized legal research, persuasive writing and oral advocacy—skills he has applied in the years since graduating.

After completing his J.D., Taylor established his practice in Oklahoma. He has worked in both transactional and contested settings, representing individual and business clients across state venues. Colleagues describe him as methodical; he breaks down complex problems into manageable steps and explains options in plain language. That approach has shaped how he interacts with clients and other lawyers.

Taylor has been active in the Greater Oklahoma City Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since 2018. He participates in events that connect business leaders and lawyers, and he attends programs designed to support small business owners. His involvement in the chamber reflects an interest in the intersection of law and local commerce and in helping community organizations understand legal risk and compliance.

For several years Taylor has practiced at Kozeny & McCubbin. At the firm he manages a caseload that requires both courtroom preparedness and negotiated solutions. He prepares pleadings, handles discovery and appears in hearings. He also spends time counseling clients on the options available to them and on the procedures they should expect as matters move forward.

Taylor’s work style favors clear communication and steady preparation. He prioritizes early case assessment and practical milestones. He aims to keep clients informed and to set realistic expectations about timing and potential outcomes. When cases require it, he coordinates with outside experts and consults with colleagues to test legal theories and refine strategy.

Outside of firm responsibilities he remains connected to local business groups and legal peers. He attends continuing legal education programs and contributes to firm discussions about practice management and efficiency. He brings that everyday learning back to client matters and uses it to refine how his office prepares for hearings and settlements.

He currently practices at Kozeny & McCubbin, concentrating on legal matters and client representation in Oklahoma.
