About Michelle
Michelle DelMar built her legal foundation in Boston. She earned her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 1999 after beginning her studies in 1996. At law school she concentrated on Business Law and International Business Law, areas that continue to inform her practice today.
After law school DelMar established herself in New England’s legal community. She is licensed to practice in both Maine and Massachusetts, authorized by the Maine Board of Overseers of the Bar and the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers. Those dual admissions have allowed her to work across state lines and counsel clients whose matters reach beyond a single jurisdiction.
DelMar’s early years in practice included transactional work and advising business clients. She handled contracts, regulatory questions, and cross-border concerns tied to commercial relationships. Her training in international business law gave her a framework for issues that involve parties, goods, or services in more than one country. She applies that framework to agreements, compliance matters, and negotiations.
In private practice she has balanced counseling and dispute avoidance. Clients have turned to her for document drafting, contract review, and practical risk assessment. She also conducts negotiations on behalf of businesses seeking clearer terms or more predictable arrangements. Her approach centers on clear written agreements and practical steps clients can take to reduce uncertainty.
DelMar operates from a small firm platform. She practices under the name DelMar Law Offices. The firm handles matters that are often commercial in nature and sometimes cross municipal or state lines. The practice size allows her to manage files directly and keep clients informed at every stage.
Outside of client files she has been involved in routine bar processes and continuing legal education typical for lawyers licensed in multiple states. That involvement keeps her current on changes in both Maine and Massachusetts law that affect business clients.
As of 2026 she continues to serve businesses and individuals through DelMar Law Offices. Her practice concentrates on business and international business law matters, handling transactional work, contract drafting, and related compliance issues.
