About Micheal Littlejohn
Micheal Littlejohn Jr. studied political science as an undergraduate and then moved into law. He earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Mary Washington in 2012. Three years later he received his Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law in 2015.
His early professional steps are straightforward. After law school he gained admission to practice in North Carolina and secured credentials to appear before the Federal Circuit. He maintains active memberships in the North Carolina State Bar and the North Carolina Bar Association, affiliations that reflect continuous involvement in the state’s legal community.
Littlejohn’s work has been concentrated inside courtrooms and at counsel tables. He handles matters that arise in state courts and in federal forums, and he brings cases to the Federal Circuit when the issues require it. He manages filings, prepares legal arguments and engages in client counseling. He balances courtroom preparation with procedural detail, and he approaches cases with attention to both statutory and appellate considerations.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in preparing records and precise in briefing. He maintains a practice that requires regular contact with judges, clerks and opposing counsel. That daily practice keeps him familiar with the procedural rhythms of North Carolina courts and the standards applied in federal appellate filings. He also spends time researching case law and statutory developments that affect active matters.
He operates under Littlejohn Law, PLLC. The firm’s designation appears on court filings and in professional directories. Littlejohn divides his time between client intake, case strategy and the administrative duties that running a small firm requires. He now practices through Littlejohn Law, PLLC, representing clients in state and federal matters.
