About Michael
Michael Trevino followed a path from Austin to New Hampshire and back to Texas courtrooms. He earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at Austin before moving to the University of New Hampshire for law school. Those two campuses set the bookends for his formal legal training and shaped how he approaches client work.
After law school he entered practice in Texas. Early in his career he served as an associate at Radack & Borunda, where he cut his teeth on day-to-day case work and firm practice. The role exposed him to the rhythms of a small firm environment: drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and preparing matters for hearings. His responsibilities expanded over time and in 2018 he joined Michael P. Fleming & Associates, P.C. as a senior associate. That position carried greater courtroom and client-facing duties and placed him in a more senior role on litigation teams.
Trevino’s bar admissions include Texas. He has maintained active ties to professional organizations throughout his career. He holds memberships in the American Bar Association, the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Mexican American Bar Association, and the Texas Young Lawyers Association. Those memberships reflect an ongoing engagement with legal education, networking, and the professional norms that guide practice in his jurisdiction.
Colleagues describe him as steady and methodical in managing case details. He has handled tasks across case lifecycles, from initial client intake to motion practice and trial preparation. The combination of large-file management at a busy firm and the closer client contact typical of smaller practices has informed how he allocates time and delegates work when leading a team.
Trevino’s academic background at UT Austin and the University of New Hampshire remains a touchstone. His undergraduate studies gave him a regional perspective rooted in Texas. Law school broadened that view and introduced him to a different legal climate. Together, those experiences helped him navigate varied procedural settings and client expectations.
Outside the courtroom, he participates in bar activities and forums offered by the associations he belongs to. Those sessions serve as practical forums for continuing legal education and peer discussion. He also mentors younger lawyers through professional groups and informal firm-based training.
He currently practices in Texas and manages client matters consistent with the experience he gained at his prior firms.
