Michael Thomas Lynch is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 2005. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Lynch is the principal attorney at Lynch Law, a law firm located in Auburn, California. He has been practicing law for over 20 years, serving clients throughout Placer County and the surrounding regions.
Mr. Lynch earned his Juris Doctor degree from Empire College School of Law in Santa Rosa, California, graduating in 2004. His studies focused on litigation, evidence, and trial practice. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at Humboldt State University in Arcata, California, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Zoology in 1986.
Mr. Lynch concentrates his practice in employment law, representing individuals in matters such as wrongful termination, wage disputes, and employment discrimination. He provides comprehensive legal services, including case evaluation, discovery, settlement negotiations, and trial representation in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Lynch has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Placer and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of California. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as a certified law clerk at the District Attorney’s Office, gaining valuable experience in criminal law.
Mr. Lynch is an active member of the California State Bar and has been involved with the Sonoma County Bar Association, serving on the Board of Directors from 2005 to 2009. He has also been a panelist on the Fee Arbitration Committee and a member of the Judicial Evaluation Committee within the association. Additionally, he is a member of the Placer County Bar Association. Mr. Lynch is fluent in English and offers free initial consultations to prospective clients.
