About Michael Teague
Michael Teague Fort entered the legal profession in 2007 as a clerk for the 21st Judicial District Circuit Judges Office. He spent that year behind the bench, observing courtroom procedure and the day-to-day mechanics of case management. Those early months shaped how he approaches his work now: attention to detail and a clear sense of courtroom rhythm.
A year later he joined Schell, Binkley and Davies, LLC as an associate. He handled a variety of matters there and moved into a leadership role fairly quickly. In 2010 he became a partner at Schell and Davies, LLC. That promotion reflected a shift in responsibilities. He took on case strategy, client meetings, and mentoring younger attorneys.
In 2020 he joined Fort, Holloway, & Roger, LLC as a partner. The move brought him into a firm bearing his own name and expanded his practice base within Tennessee. Over time he has balanced litigation work with client advising and firm management tasks. He has continued to appear in state courts and to maintain relationships across the local legal community.
Outside firm roles, Fort has been active in professional organizations. He has been a member of the Williamson County Bar Association since 2007. He joined the American Inns of Court in 2010 and has remained a member. Since 2012 he has held membership in the Tennessee Bar Association. Those affiliations have kept him connected to developments in state practice and to other lawyers across the region.
His career path shows a steady progression from court clerk to associate and then to partner. He works in Tennessee and draws on years of courtroom experience and firm leadership. As of 2026 he is a partner at Fort, Holloway, & Roger, LLC and practices law in Tennessee, where his work centers on the matters handled by his firm.
