About Beth

Beth Roesler built her legal foundation at the University of South Dakota School of Law, where she finished her studies in 2009. She moved into practice soon after, joining a regional firm and learning the day-to-day work of litigation and client counsel. The years following law school grounded her in courtroom procedure and firm practice.

Roesler’s early career began in 2010 at Johnson, Miner, Marlow, Woodward & Huff. That position gave her a steady introduction to matters that come through a midsize firm. In 2014 she moved to Pollard & Larson, LLP in Yankton, taking on a broader slate of assignments and deeper client responsibility. A year later she joined Christopherson, Anderson, Paulson & Fideler, LLP in Sioux Falls, where she continued to develop practical skills and courtroom experience.

In 2019 Roesler became a partner at Goosmann Law Office PLC. Her elevation to partnership reflected several years of steady practice across different firm environments. At Goosmann she has worked alongside other attorneys on client matters and firm operations. Her path through multiple practices in South Dakota gave her exposure to the procedural and substantive issues that shape regional litigation and client advising.

Roesler is licensed to practice law in South Dakota and is admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit. Those admissions allow her to represent clients in state tribunals and to handle appeals that reach the federal appellate level. Colleagues describe her as pragmatic in court settings, attentive to case preparation, and careful in legal writing.

Over the years she has moved between offices in Yankton and Sioux Falls before settling into her role as partner. Her work has included appearances and filings at both state and federal levels, reflecting a practice developed across the logistical and procedural demands of regional courts. She holds memberships in local legal associations, where she maintains connections to the South Dakota bar community.

Today she practices at Goosmann Law Office PLC, representing clients in matters in South Dakota and before the Eighth Circuit.
