About Michael
Michael Stageman built his legal foundation at the University of Iowa, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy in 2010. He moved on to Creighton University School of Law and completed his J.D. in 2013. While in law school he pursued concentrated coursework in criminal law and litigation and received certifications in Criminal Law and Procedure and in Litigation from Creighton.
After law school, Stageman established his practice in Nebraska. He is licensed to practice in the state and has concentrated his work on cases that arise in Nebraska courts. Over time he organized his practice under the name Stageman Law, where he serves as a lawyer for individuals facing criminal charges and for clients involved in contested litigation matters.
Stageman’s credentials reflect a curriculum that emphasized trial work and criminal procedure. The certifications he earned at Creighton signal particular training in courtroom procedure and adversarial practice. Those qualifications underpin the day-to-day work he does at Stageman Law. He handles pretrial motions, plea negotiations, and courtroom hearings, and takes contested matters to trial when clients decide that is the appropriate step.
Colleagues describe him as methodical in building case files and clear in explaining options to clients. He blends analytical thinking from his undergraduate study in philosophy with practical courtroom training acquired in law school. That combination shapes how he evaluates evidence, frames legal arguments, and prepares witnesses. He maintains membership in professional associations relevant to his practice.
Today, Michael Stageman practices at Stageman Law in Nebraska. He represents clients in criminal defense and in related litigation, advising them through each stage of the case and appearing on their behalf in state courts.
