About Michael Patrick
Michael Patrick Doyle trained in two of the country’s long-standing university systems. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Virginia before completing his J.D. at the University of Texas at Austin. Those years shaped his interest in litigation and the practical side of courtroom work.
He entered private practice in Texas and moved quickly into leadership. In 2003 he became a managing partner at Doyle Raizner LLP, overseeing trial teams and case strategy. The role put him in regular contact with judges, opposing counsel and clients facing serious civil disputes.
A dozen years later he took the lead at a new firm. Since 2015 he has served as managing partner at Doyle LLP Trial Lawyers. In that position he has guided case selection and trial preparation while maintaining an active docket. The firm’s structure reflects a courtroom-centered practice, and Doyle has split his time between administrative duties and appearances in state and federal courts.
Doyle is licensed to practice in three jurisdictions: Missouri, Texas and Arizona. He also holds board certification in Personal Injury Trial Law from the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. That credential signals a concentration in civil trial work under Texas rules for specialty recognition.
Colleagues describe him as a lawyer who favors direct preparation and steady courtroom presentation. He tends to focus on trial readiness from the earliest stages of a file. He prepares witnesses, develops demonstrative materials and works through the procedural steps that often decide outcomes before a jury is seated.
Over the course of his career he has handled a range of civil matters tied to personal injury and related disputes. He has tried cases and argued evidentiary issues. He has also managed teams that coordinate fact investigation, expert testimony and settlement negotiation when resolution outside court is appropriate.
Doyle maintains offices in Houston, Galveston and Phoenix and splits his time among those locations. He currently practices primarily in personal injury trial law from his Houston, Galveston and Phoenix offices.
