About Michael P. Singer

Michael P. Singer III earned his law degree from Saint Louis University in 2017 after completing undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri–St. Louis in 2014, where he studied political science, anthropology and criminology/criminal justice. Those disciplines shaped his approach to evidence and to questions about how institutions operate. He moved from classroom study to the courtroom and the office, building a practical skill set in the years after law school.

His professional trajectory led him to Klar, Izsak & Stenger, L.L.C., where he serves as an associate lawyer. He is licensed to practice in both Missouri and Illinois. At the firm he works alongside senior attorneys on a range of matters, handling the everyday tasks that keep cases moving—from factual investigation to drafting motions and preparing for hearings.

Singer’s undergraduate fields inform his method. Political science trained him to parse statutes and understand governance. Anthropology reinforced attention to context and human behavior. Criminology and criminal justice provided a baseline for thinking about procedure and evidence. He applies those perspectives to legal research, client interviews and case strategy. His work emphasizes careful preparation: assembling records, developing timelines and testing legal theories before they reach the courtroom.

Colleagues describe him as thorough in his preparation and steady under pressure. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, maintaining active ties to the legal community there. He contributes to firm projects that require coordinated research and courtroom readiness, and he takes part in continuing education to stay current on procedural developments in both states where he practices.

Singer’s practice includes drafting pleadings, briefing motions, and assisting in trial preparation. He handles depositions, gathers and analyzes evidence, and supports trial teams during hearings. He also assists with client counseling during early stages of a matter, helping clients understand options and next steps as cases develop.

He joined Klar, Izsak & Stenger, L.L.C. after completing his formal legal training and has continued to expand the scope of responsibilities he handles at the firm. His work is grounded in methodical research and practical courtroom preparation. He currently focuses his practice on litigation, trial preparation and client representation in matters across Illinois and Missouri.
