Michael P. Kade is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1999. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Kade is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Michael P. Kade, APLC, located at 15303 Ventura Blvd., Suite 900, Sherman Oaks, California. He has been practicing law for over 25 years, serving clients throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
Mr. Kade earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of West Los Angeles School of Law in 1996. He also holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the same institution, completed in 1996. Additionally, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Union University. Further enhancing his legal expertise, Mr. Kade completed the Pepperdine Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution Graduate Program in 2017, focusing on Mediation and Arbitration.
Mr. Kade concentrates his practice in the areas of criminal defense, business litigation, civil litigation, and DUI/DWI defense. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving criminal charges, contractual disputes, and civil litigation. His practice encompasses all stages of litigation, including initial case evaluation, discovery, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial proceedings in both state and federal courts.
Throughout his career, Mr. Kade has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Century City for five years.
Mr. Kade is an active member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program. Mr. Kade is fluent in English and Persian (Farsi), allowing him to serve the diverse communities of Los Angeles County effectively.
