About Michael P
Michael P Bonner built a steady legal career rooted in Florida courts. He completed undergraduate studies at the Florida State University, Panama City campus, earning a B.S. in political science in 1985. He went on to receive his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 1989. Those years set the foundation for a practice that has unfolded almost entirely inside the state.
He entered practice immediately after law school, joining DeCesare and Salerno as an associate in 1989. Early litigation experience followed at Rumberger, Kirk & Caldwell, P.A., where he worked as an associate beginning in 1992. In 1994 he moved to Parenti, Falk & Waas, P.A., taking on roles that expanded his responsibilities and courtroom exposure.
The next decade brought partnership and ownership changes reflected in firm names. In 2000 he is listed as a shareholder at Parenti, Falk, Waas, Herandez and Cortina, P.A., a title that continued through a later firm iteration. By 2006 he was a shareholder at Falk, Waas, Hernandez, Cortina, Solomon & Bonner, P.A. Those years show a trajectory from associate to firm leadership and a continuing presence in litigation practice.
In 2019 he established his own practice, Bonner Law, where he serves as owner. Running a firm allowed him to direct case selection and firm operations. Colleagues and court records show a lawyer comfortable managing litigation teams and participating in trials and pretrial strategy.
His professional affiliations include membership in the American Board of Trial Lawyers since 2015 and the Dade County Bar Association since 1992. Those memberships point to sustained engagement with trial practice and local bar activities over many years. He also maintains an active presence in Florida’s legal community through motions, hearings and jury trials in state courts.
Today he practices under the Bonner Law name in Florida. His current work centers on litigation and trial matters handled through his firm.
