About Michael N

Michael N Hanna earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University before moving to the University of Miami School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 2007. The two schools shaped a foundation in both regional and national legal perspectives. His law school graduation in 2007 marked the point at which he began building a courtroom-oriented practice.

He is admitted to practice in Florida and Michigan and is also admitted to multiple federal district courts and circuits. His federal admissions include the 6th and 11th Circuits and a range of U.S. District Courts: Western and Eastern Districts of Michigan, Western District of Tennessee, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, Eastern District of Wisconsin, Eastern District of Kentucky, Western District of Texas, Southern District of Florida, Middle District of Florida, District of Colorado, and Northern District of Illinois. That breadth of admission suggests regular work on matters that cross state lines or require appearances in different federal venues.

Over the years Hanna has maintained memberships in a series of professional organizations. He is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and the Oakland County Bar Association. He also belongs to the Michigan Association for Justice and holds membership in the National Arabic-American Lawyers Association. His affiliations extend to groups that focus on employment litigation; he is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association. He is also active in the Federal Bar Association, Eastern District of Michigan chapter. Those ties reflect ongoing engagement with both local and national legal communities.

Hanna’s practice has involved litigation in numerous federal districts, and his admissions to the appellate circuits indicate experience handling matters beyond trial pleadings. He has litigated in state and federal forums across the Midwest and the South. Colleagues and opposing counsel have encountered him in courts from Michigan to Florida and in federal courthouses as far afield as Colorado and Texas.

He is currently an attorney with Morgan & Morgan. At the firm he handles matters that require courtroom appearances across his admitted jurisdictions and participates in litigation that routinely involves federal filings and district court practice. He remains active in bar and professional associations while maintaining his courtroom work. He practices litigation in state and federal courts.
