Michael Isaac Schiller is a licensed attorney admitted to practice law in the State of California. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1991. His license is currently in active status. Mr. Schiller is the principal attorney at the Law Offices of Michael I. Schiller P.C., a law firm located in Torrance, California. He has been practicing law for over 34 years, serving clients throughout the Los Angeles metropolitan area and surrounding counties in Southern California.
Mr. Schiller earned his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law, where he graduated in 1991. Prior to law school, he completed his undergraduate education at California State University, Long Beach, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1988. During his time at Southwestern University School of Law, he was involved in various legal clinics and internships, gaining practical experience in multiple areas of law.
Mr. Schiller concentrates his practice in the areas of business law, real estate law, construction law, landlord-tenant law, and probate law. He represents individuals and businesses in matters involving business contracts, business dissolution, business finance, business formation, business litigation, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, partnership and shareholder disputes, commercial real estate, condominiums, easements, eminent domain, homeowners association issues, land use and zoning, mortgages, neighbor disputes, residential real estate, water law, construction contracts, construction defects, construction liens, construction litigation, landlord rights, probate litigation, and will contests. Throughout his career, Mr. Schiller has handled cases in the Superior Court of California for the County of Los Angeles, the United States District Court for the Central District of California, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. He has also appeared before the California Court of Appeal on multiple occasions. Prior to founding his own firm, he worked as an associate at a mid-size litigation firm in Torrance for five years. His extensive experience allows him to effectively represent clients in complex legal matters across various practice areas.
Mr. Schiller is an active member of the California State Bar Association. He holds membership in the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. He is also a certified mediator through the Los Angeles County Superior Court mediation program.
