Michael Anthony Steel is a bankruptcy attorney based in Fairlawn, Ohio. He is the principal at Steel & Company Law Office, located at 2725 Abington Road, Suite 200, Fairlawn, Ohio 44333. He regularly advises privately held companies on workout arrangements and negotiations with creditors as alternatives to bankruptcy. He has also served as receiver and trustee’s counsel. Mr. Steel has been recognized by his peers for his expertise in bankruptcy law. In 2019, he was named Pro Bono Attorney of the Year by Akron Community Legal Aid. He serves as Vice Chair and President Elect of the Julie Billiart School Board and is a board member of the Julie Billiart Schools Network. He has been involved with Akron Community Legal Aid's Pro Bono Committee and has served on the boards of Nazareth Housing Development Corp. and the HALO Foundation.
