About Meghan
Meghan Lewallen earned a B.S. in Business Economics from Miami University of Ohio in 2006 and a J.D. from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 2013. Her academic path combined business training and legal study, a pairing that has shaped how she approaches case assessment and client counseling.
While in law school she served as a judicial extern in 2012 for the Office of Judge James S. Gwin. That same year she worked as a law clerk at Spangenberg Shibley & Liber Law Office. Those experiences exposed her to courtroom procedures and case preparation at an early stage in her career.
After law school she began practicing at firms associated with the Mellino name. In 2013 she worked at Mellino Robenalt, LLC. By 2014 she was a lawyer at The Mellino Law Office, LLC. Her work at those firms has involved litigation tasks typical of trial-oriented practices: drafting pleadings, taking and defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial.
Lewallen participates in a number of local and national bar groups. She is a current member of the American Association for Justice and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Lawyers. She also holds memberships in the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association and the West Shore Bar Association. These affiliations reflect an ongoing connection to trial practice and professional development in Ohio.
