About Megan C

Megan C Wells earned her law degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis in 2004 after completing undergraduate studies at Indiana University Bloomington in 1999, where she studied human development and family studies. Her academic path combined legal training with a background in family dynamics, an alignment that has shaped much of her professional work.

Soon after law school she became active in the local legal community. She joined both the Indiana State Bar Association and the Indianapolis Bar Association in 2005 and has maintained those memberships since. The associations provided a platform for ongoing education and peer connections that informed her early practice.

Wells expanded her practice into alternative dispute resolution and became a Certified Domestic Relations Mediator in Indiana. That credential reflects her work handling family law matters outside of the courtroom. In 2012 she served on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Association of Mediators, participating in governance and program efforts that support mediation standards and training across the state.

Her professional profile mixes client counseling and mediated dispute resolution. Colleagues describe her as practical and precise in settings where parties must make difficult decisions. She often works with couples, families, and attorneys to help clarify issues and explore solutions that avoid protracted litigation.

At Duffin & Hash, LLP, Wells practices alongside a team that handles family law and related civil matters. Her daily work includes conducting mediation sessions, preparing settlement agreements, and advising clients on procedural options. She manages both the interpersonal aspects of negotiation and the technical legal steps that turn agreements into enforceable orders.

Outside of casework, Wells has participated in continuing education offered through bar and mediation organizations. Her record of membership and the 2012 board role indicate an ongoing engagement with professional development and the institutions that shape practice in Indiana.

Wells is licensed to practice in Indiana and continues to maintain an active presence in the state’s legal and mediation communities. She practices at Duffin & Hash, LLP and concentrates on family law mediation and related domestic relations matters.
