About Ranger
Ranger Davis began his legal path at Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor. He arrived at law school intent on learning how courts and statutes translate into real results for people. The study of law appealed to him because it mixed analysis with practical problem solving, and he carried that perspective into his early work as a lawyer.
After law school, Davis joined Stange Law Office, PC as an associate lawyer. In that role he has taken on a mix of responsibilities common to firm practice: client interviews, legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and representing clients in hearings. Colleagues describe him as someone who prefers clarity in the work—clear explanations for clients and clear organization for cases.
Davis is licensed to practice in Indiana and handles matters that arise in state courts and administrative settings. He applies courtroom experience and written advocacy when cases require it, while also attending to the procedural and practical side of case management. He spends time preparing concise briefs, developing factual records and coordinating with clients so they understand each step in a matter.
Professional development has remained a steady part of his career. He has maintained professional association memberships since 2020 and takes continuing legal education to keep current on changes in state law and procedure. Those activities support how he approaches day-to-day client work and the firm’s caseload.
The work at the firm has given Davis the chance to refine both his research skills and his courtroom presence. He approaches problems by mapping the legal questions, identifying the facts the court will need to see, and planning discrete steps to bring a matter to resolution. He aims for practical recommendations that clients can act on, even when the legal picture is complicated.
Outside the office he is the sort of lawyer who values plain language. He avoids jargon with clients and explains options in direct terms. That straightforward approach informs how he manages files and communicates about expectations and timelines.
Davis remains at Stange Law Office, PC, practicing in Indiana and handling the types of matters that come through the firm. His current practice concentrates on representing clients in matters before Indiana courts and related proceedings.
