About Meg

Meg Westall built her legal foundation at two North Carolina institutions. She completed undergraduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006 and earned her J.D. from Elon University School of Law in 2013. Those years shaped her approach to client work and court procedure.

After law school she moved into practice in her home state. She is admitted to practice in North Carolina and joined iTicket.law - Powered by Hatley Law Office as an associate lawyer. In that role she has handled matters that require steady courtroom presence, careful document preparation and regular client contact. Colleagues describe her as methodical; clients find her practical and direct.

Her work takes her across the state. The firm lists a Chapel Hill headquarters and regional offices in Asheville, Charlotte, Raleigh, Fayetteville, Greensboro and Asheboro. Westall splits time among these locations depending on case needs. She works with clients in person and remotely. That flexibility keeps her involved in a broad range of day-to-day practice tasks, from initial intake through hearings.

Courtroom work is a frequent part of her schedule. She prepares filings, attends hearings and negotiates on behalf of clients. She also handles the paperwork and procedural steps that many clients find confusing. The steady rhythm of preparing cases for court and then advocating in front of judges and clerks defines much of her professional routine.

Westall’s colleagues note her attention to procedural detail. She approaches each case with an eye toward the immediate practicalities: deadlines, filings, and the sequence of steps necessary to advance a client’s position. That pragmatic orientation guides how she allocates time and resources on each matter.

Outside the office she maintains ties to the legal community in North Carolina. Her practice has grown alongside the firm’s statewide footprint, and she remains based in the state where she trained and was admitted. She currently practices at iTicket.law - Powered by Hatley Law Office and serves clients through the firm’s North Carolina offices.
